Turntable not turning

Hi all,
eventually I got my scanner and turntable yesterday.

Updated the scanner to firmware 1.3, the scanner does some movements during firmware version checks,
the turntable not. The turntable was already 1.3 as displayed in the app.

I'm currently using an iPhone 5s, 64GB.

After accomplishing the calibration, I tried a scan with connected turntable.
But unfortunately it does not move at all.

Is this an issue with the app or DOA? Anyone else experiencing similar issues so far?
Is there any way to test the drive of the turntable?

my turntable doesn't move during firmware version checks. It's also displaying 1.3 firmware.
Does the scan button show the number of scans before you start scanning as described in the tutorial video?

My turntable had a loose screw on arrival so I was able to remove the rotating top. I fixed this and had no problems since then.
I don't see any chance to test the turntable or the scanner. Perhaps in a later app version that hopefully will come soon.

Yes, I can choose the count of scans, the turntable is detected by the app, it just does not turn.
Maybe I should open the device and check cable connections.

Had to do that with my Prusa 3D printer as well, since a plug had gone loose during transport.

The central screw of my turn table was not closed tight when I received it. You can check that this is not an issue on yours...?

So I opened up the device and found the stepper motor not connected.

From the stepper motor 4 wires ending in a connector.
But on the PCB there is a 6 pin connector.
So the chinese assembly guy potentially did not know how to connect...

Can anybody tell me which pins have to be connected?

Here is a photo of mine that looks pretty much different from yours...???

Indeed, it looks like your connector on the pdb is detached...

Build quality and QA seems to be improvable ...

But what is the piece plugged in the 6 pin connector then?
Is this any connection / bridge or what? This piece is totally missing in my device.
I surely can resolder the detached connector, but when something else is missing...

The 6 pin connector is empty on mine...There is a plastic cap covering half of it (???)

And that cap has no wire in it?

I would try to resolder the connector and try again if the turntable is moving after the repair.
