Made a desktop base for my Eora Empty Made a desktop base for my Eora

To address the design deficiency in my Eora, I made an aluminum base for it. Between the thickness of the aluminum and the nut I used for a spacer, the Eora now sits high enough to permit me to plug a power cable into my iPhone so I don't run the battery down in endless attempts to actually get a decent-looking scan. The base is only 5 inches wide, so there's plenty of clearance for the phone's charging cable, but the weight of the phone will no longer tip the Eora over. I could have bought a desktop tripod, but I'm still trying to get a decent scan of a small object on the turntable, so placing the Eora on a tripod would necessitate placing the turntable on a similar-height stand. With this base, I only need to put the turntable atop a roll of masking tape to get it to a similar height.
